The problem

Why a real ticket is so hard to get

Europe's biggest clubs barely sell to the general public. Most tickets go to members and season ticket holders, and the rest end up on a secondary market that is largely unauthorised — where a club can void your ticket on the morning of the match for being resold.

The anonymous resale market

  • A seller you can't identify or reach
  • Tickets the club can cancel as unauthorised resale
  • Fees that only appear at checkout
  • A support form, six time zones away, with nobody on it

MatchGate Travel

  • Sourced through clubs' officially appointed agents
  • One final price, everything included, before you pay
  • Straight answers on delivery timing and seating
  • One person handling you, from first message to kick-off

The process

Four steps, no surprises

We don't hold ticket inventory and we don't sell you something we haven't confirmed. Every booking starts with a real availability check.

01

Tell us the match

Which fixture or which club, how many of you, and roughly when. If the date hasn't been confirmed by the league yet, we'll tell you when it is.

02

We check and price it

We check live availability with our authorised suppliers and come back with a final quote, the ticket type, and where in the ground you'll be sitting.

03

You confirm, we buy

Once you approve and pay, we purchase immediately and send confirmation. You'll also get our picks for flights, a hotel near the ground, and a stadium tour.

04

Tickets arrive

Delivered digitally, usually between three days and one day before kick-off — that's how the clubs release them. We're reachable on matchday itself.

Scope of service

What we handle, and what you do

Better to know up front. We sell the ticket and plan the day around it. You book the flights and the hotel yourself — and we tell you exactly which ones and where.

On us

  • Sourcing the match ticket from an authorised supplier
  • Choosing the right section for your budget and preferences
  • A final, all-in quote before any payment
  • Delivering the tickets and staying reachable until you're inside
  • Specific recommendations: which hotel, which tour, how to get there

On you

  • Booking your flights — using the links and advice we send
  • Booking your hotel — we'll name the areas and properties near the ground
  • A valid passport and travel insurance
  • Full legal names for every traveller, as the clubs require for issuing

FAQ

What to know before you book

When do I actually get the tickets?

Usually between three days and one day before the match. That isn't our choice — it's how clubs release digital tickets, partly to prevent unauthorised resale. You get written confirmation from us as soon as we purchase, and the ticket itself close to kick-off.

Will our seats be together?

Not always. Adjacent seating depends on what's actually available, and we'll tell you before you pay whether it's guaranteed for your specific booking. If sitting together is a dealbreaker, say so up front and we'll only look at options that guarantee it.

What if the match gets moved?

Fixture changes are routine in European football, mostly driven by TV scheduling. Your ticket is normally valid for the rescheduled date. The exact cancellation and rescheduling terms are set out in writing in your quote, before you pay.

Do you sell full packages with flights and hotel?

No. We sell the ticket and the planning; you book flights and accommodation directly with the providers, using our specific recommendations. It keeps us out of tour-operator regulation, and in practice it usually costs you less.

I'm booking from the US. Does that change anything?

Not on our side. We quote in euros or pounds depending on the club, and we're used to working across time zones — you'll get a written quote you can read at your leisure rather than a phone call at 3am. Delivery is digital, so where you fly from doesn't matter.

How do I pay?

Nothing starts until you've received a final written quote and approved it. Payment details come with the quote. We never take payment before confirming the tickets are available.

Request a quote

Which match do you want to be at?

Send us the details and we'll come back with availability and a price. No commitment at this stage.

We reply to every enquiry within one business day — including when the answer is that the match isn't available.
